Ed Castro and his staff have a knack for helping thousands of people lead healthier, happier, and more fulfilled lives.
Ed Castro, Physical Therapist
Ed earned an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science-Physiology from California State University, Long Beach in 1989. He followed that achievement by obtaining his degree in Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 1992. He enjoys helping patients from all walks of life with their area of dysfunction and has developed long lasting relationships with many patients over the years. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA), and Private Practice Section of the APTA (PPS). Ed is certified as a clinical instructor from the APTA and provides clinical training to students of Loma Linda University's Physical Therapist Assistant and Doctorate of Physical Therapy programs. He also sits on the advisory board for the Colton-Redlands-Yucaipa Regional Occupational Program and partners with the Inland Health Professions Coalition providing a clinical classroom to local high school students interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. Outside of work, Ed has been active in judo for more than 45 years with a 6th degree black belt and is a former local, state, and national judo champion. He currently practices judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Jo, and their children and grandchildren.
Aimee Walnofer, Physical Therapist Assistant
After spending nearly two decades as a mom and homemaker to her husband and two children, Aimee decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. She proudly graduated with a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Loma Linda University and enjoys helping patients heal, move and feel better on a daily basis. When not at ProCare, Aimee enjoys writing historical novels; having published two to date, and enjoys walking her dog, Duncan alongside her husband, Jeff.
Victor Capacete, Jr., Physical Therapy Aide
Victor graduated from California Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2017. He became interested in physical therapy as a potential career after helping a friend with a video project for physical therapy school. Here at ProCare Victor works as a Physical Therapy Aide assisting both the Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant with various aspects of patient care. At the moment he is obtaining hours required to apply to the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Loma Linda University. When Victor is not at ProCare you can find him at the beach with his wife, Marena and newborn son, Archer. He also enjoys working with the youth at church, or being a mediocre home barista.
Susana Escobedo, Administrative Assistant
Susana is an Administrative Assistant who has been a part of the ProCare team for the past 18 months. Aside from greeting patients and handling the phones at the front desk; Susana helps patients with their paperwork, scheduling of appointments and other needs they may have. Susana also manages PPO, HMO, and Workers' Compensation referrals, as well as, medical records requests. Susana is fluent in Spanish and is always willing to help patients in whatever way possible. She is the proud mother of three month old, Eric with whom she enjoys spending her free time.
Erica Bauchert, Insurance Specialist
Erica is an Insurance Specialist who joined the ProCare team three years ago. One of her roles is to help patients better understand their insurance coverage and benefits before initiating treatment with us. Erica puts forth her best effort in assuring patients utilize their insurance benefits to their greatest advantage. Erica will also assist patients with obtaining referrals, medical reports or other documentation from their doctor if necessary. She speaks fluent Spanish which allows her to assist our Spanish speaking community and make them feel more at ease. Outside of work, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband of 10 years, Sam and their two beautiful boys, Andrew and Michael whom they frequently take to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm or Legoland.
